How to get licensed to work in Los Angeles
To work on clients in California you need a current bloodborne pathogens certificate and registration as a body art practitioner with your county health department. We register students with the Los Angeles County health department as part of enrollment. Read our guide to microblading license requirements in California.

Frequently Asked Questions
You will need to complete an online Bloodborne Pathogen Training for Los Angeles County. You will need to be certified by the Los Angeles Health Department as a Body Art Practitioner in order to legally work on a model. We can register you with the health department for an additional charge of $100, just make sure to email us your bloodborne certificate prior to attending the training.
Once you complete your training with us, you will be certified by Elite. Our certification is known and accepted worldwide.
Once you complete your training with us, you will be able to bring in clients and work on them from our fully licensed salon in Los Angeles.
Yes! Whenever you train with us , you will get an access code that can be used to get wholesale permanent makeup and microblading products from us.
