What does microblading cost in Los Angeles?
The main distinguishing factor in the price of microblading is the experience of your artist. Microblading in highly populated cities will have slightly higher prices than in other less populated cities. With that being said, microblading can cost anywhere from $400-$1400 for a high-quality procedure.
At Elite, microblading is $700 with Grand Master Mahnaz Bahaelou, $500 with a Master Artist and $350 with an Elite Artist. The second session 4–6 weeks after your first appointment is $250, $200 or $150 at the same levels.

Prices depend on the artist level. Grand Master Mahnaz Bahaelou is Elite’s founder, Master Artists have five or more years of experience, and Elite Artists are trained and certified at Elite.

What does an annual touch up cost?
Microblading maintenance is crucial. You will be coming in around every year (depends on your skin type) to get them touched up and look fresh again. Usually the charge for an annual touch up is 50-60% of the original appointment price. For example, if someone charges $700 for microblading, the annual touch up price should be about $400.
For the full breakdown – what the free 4-6 week session covers, what changes the price of a refresh, and how long you can leave it before a refresh becomes a full appointment again – see our guide to microblading touch up cost in Los Angeles.
What does microblading cost over two years?
Now let’s take a look at the total charges of microblading after 2 years (original + maintenance). For this, we will use the cost of our microblading procedure as the example. The original cost of microblading is $700 and annual touch ups are $400, and the 4-6 week perfecting session is $250. So, the total cost for 2 years would be $700 + $250 + $400 + $400, which comes out to $1,750. Although this may seem like a lot for 2 years, it really is worth it. If you bought a $4 coffee every day for 2 years, it would cost you $2,920. So, what’s more worth the money, coffee or brows?
What makes microblading more or less expensive?
- Artist experience. Senior and master artists charge more, and a well-done first appointment usually costs less over time than fixing a cheap one.
- Location. Studios in large cities such as Los Angeles price higher than studios in smaller towns.
- What is included. Check whether the 4–6 week follow-up session, numbing and aftercare products are part of the price.
- Your starting point. Covering or correcting old permanent makeup may need removal sessions first, which adds to the total.
Cheap microblading: what to check first
A low price often means less training, no follow-up session, or pigment that heals gray or red. Ask to see healed results rather than only fresh photos, and confirm the artist is registered as a body art practitioner with the county health department.
Can I finance microblading?
Yes. Elite offers healthcare financing, so you can spread the cost of your brows, lips or eyeliner over monthly payments. Ask about it when you book.
Costs, training and what comes next
Pricing for a client appointment is listed on our microblading service page. Artists who would rather earn from the technique than pay for it should look at what microblading training costs in Los Angeles and at the certification course itself. California also requires county registration before you can work on clients, which we explain in our guide to microblading license requirements in California.
